Diced / Sliced Figs
Blue Ribbon California diced, or sliced figs, are made from dried figs, one of nature's most nutritious fruits. These items add texture and flavor to an array of products in a wide variety of applications. Our diced or sliced figs are made with 100 % California dried Mission or Golden Figs. The fruit's natural chewy texture can be used for mouth feel in lieu of pectin, gums, gelatins or modified food starches.
Diced or sliced figs are cut to order in sizes that range from 1/4" to 3/4" thickness. Diced figs are square/ rectangular cuts; our sliced figs are one-dimensional cuts that provide larger pieces of the fig. They are available uncoated or coated with either dextrose or rice flour.
Any of our Blue Ribbon diced or sliced figs can be used in cookies, cakes, muffins, breads, pastries, fruit cakes, frozen novelties, confections, granola, energy bars, rice mixes, trail mixes; or they're great just for snacking.
