Diced / Sliced Figs
Blue Ribbon diced or sliced figs are made from dried figs, one of nature’s most nutritious fruits. They are available in both mission or golden figs.
Our diced and sliced figs are a delicious, cost-effective way to add flavor, nutritional value, and fiber to an array of products in a wide variety of applications. The fruit’s natural chewy texture can be used for mouth feel in lieu of pectin, gums, gelatins or modified food starches.
Diced or sliced figs are cut to order in sizes that range from 1/4” to 3/4” thickness.
Our diced figs are typically square/rectangular cuts. Sliced figs are one-dimensional cuts that provide a 3/8” size or larger fig piece. The whole figs are first washed, destemmed, diced/sliced, and then packaged.
Any of our diced or sliced figs can be used in cookies, cakes, muffins, breads, pastries, fruit cakes, frozen novelties, confections, granola, nutrition bars, rice mixes, trail mixes or they’re great just for snacking.
