Bring on the Brie
The hallmark of Brie is a cheese that’s smooth and creamy. Here are two ways to think about using Brie as an appetizer pairing with figs.
• Petite Brie: These mini cheese wheels can be a great option if you’re looking to add unbaked rounds of Brie to a cheeseboard, or as an individual appetizer that’s pre-portioned for one.
• Big Wheel: The traditional way to make Baked Brie, this is the best choice for cutting into slices as an all-inclusive appetizer of pastry, figs, and Brie.
Another idea here would be to not encase the Brie in pastry before baking, but instead shear off the top of the Brie and bake it to then be topped with chopped figs, nuts, and a drizzle of honey.
• Chop It Up: Take the large wheel of Brie and cut into cubes for a dip to be served alongside crostini, crackers, or even apple slices.

All in on Figs
• Fig Jam: Cook down the figs until jammy, or rehydrate and puree in a food processor. Find oodles of fig jam ideas here.
• Chopped Figs: This is our preferred option for baked Brie wheels not encased in pastry. We also like them in Brie Dip too.
