Ice Cream to Keep Cool

with Sun-Maid and Orchard Choice California Figs

This time of year, it typically averages 99 degrees in the Fresno central California area and our fig orchards love the heat! We are here to provide ideas for you to stay cool in this hot summer, starting with dessert first.

Did you know July is national ice cream month? Our Orchard Choice and Sun-Maid Dried Figs are amazing in ice cream, chopped up as a mix-in or to infuse into hot cream, or cooked down into a sauce or ripple. Homemade ice cream is easy to make and a summer dessert project for the family to do together.
